The search bar and search results box graphics should be used only in the University's official colors or in black and white. See the Graphic Standards for more information.

Print Typography

Consistent use of typography helps ensure that we're speaking with one voice. The University's "We are all search engines" campaign fonts are Neutraface Text Bold and Neutraface Text Demi.

Search Bar and Search Results Type Guidelines

• Search bar and search results sentences may end in either a question mark or a period.


• Capitalize only the first letter of the first word in the search sentence.


• Use down style in the search results box.


• For numbers, use Neutraface Text Alt (Demi or Bold).


• Search bar font size is equal to the size of the word "Search."


• Both the search bar and search results must use the same size font.


• At the 3" wide search bar minimum size, the Neutraface Text Demi font is 8.25 pt. When the search bar is scaled proportionately to 4" wide, the font is 11 pt.
