Question Templates

Incorporate Driven to Discover and the "We are all search engines" campaign into your Web site(s) by asking and answering a question. Two variations—using either one Web page or two—with several graphic options are shown below.

Jump down to the template graphic samples.

Template Graphic Guidelines

All template graphics below follow the Guidelines for Web Graphics and the Web Color and Type guidelines.

How to use the template graphics

Two-Page Design

On your site's home (or other appropriate) page, the two-page design:

  • Begins with a question.
  • Follows with an answer on a second page within your site.

The question can be presented with or without the search bar graphic.

Questions and answers can be taken from the Driven to Discover site. The wide variety of topics should give you enough to chose from.

Another option is to create your own question and answer that applies directly to your unit.

One-Page Design

Use a Driven to Discover graphic to state a question that leads people to an interesting aspect of your site. For example:

Did you know the University has an Imigration Resource Center?

Or simply use a Web banner, without a question, to point visitors to the Driven to Discover site.

Please send your customized graphics, or links to Web pages, to discover@umn.edu for review before publishing.

Note: Contact discover@umn.edu to get a link to a specific question.
